ZKONG Launches the New Bar-shape ESL Series, Redefine the Smart Shelf Display

ZKONG, a global leader in electronic shelf label (ESL) solutions, has officially unveiled its new Arrow Series — an innovative, all-in-one bar-shaped ESL available in 30cm, 45cm, and 60cm sizes, designed for diverse display needs and optimized shelf space utilization in retail environments.

Unlike traditional square-shaped ESLs, the Arrow Series stands out for its exceptional flexibility in information display, enabled by its seamless bar-type form factor. Integrated with the ZKONG Cloud Platform, retailers can freely define the number of SKUs displayed on a single label without being constrained by the bezel limitations of conventional designs. This transforms the ESL into a “scalable content container,”  realize unlimited contents demonstrating within a limited shelf space.

Adaptable to different retail scenarios, the Arrow Series addresses common in-store challenges such as overcrowded information in multi-SKU environments, fragmented promotional displays, limited  content capacity, and constrained shelf space. It can also deliver in-depth product details for single items, enabling more efficient, visually appealing, and flexible shelf-edge communication.

Equipped with high-definition four-color E-paper (black, white, red, yellow) and available in black or white shield, the Arrow Series support one-step construction over the one-by-one deployment of traditional ESLs. A single Arrow label can correspond to multiple SKUs at once, and multiple labels can be seamlessly connected to cover entire shelf displays. This reduces deployment complexity and cost, streamlines SKU management, cuts operational expenses, and enhances the impact of shelf-edge communication.

On the software side, the Arrow Series features a dedicated software interface and replaceable battery module for easy maintenance and scalable deployment. Fully integrated with the ZKONG Cloud Platform, it supports real-time price updates, centralized content management, and cross-store synchronization.

The new Arrow Series will be presented at NRF Europe 2025, taking place from September 16–18 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, Hall 4, Booth 6D124. Live demonstrations will showcase how this bar-shaped ESL solution enhances promotional flexibility and shelf-edge communication, empowering the next stage of modern retail transformation.
